Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Sonographer – Georgia

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend for coverage; floating within facility/scope of practice as needed; no call required

Highlights:

• Work with Epic charting system in a progressive acute care environment
• Perform 2-D and 3-D echo, TEE, stress echo, and advanced cardiac imaging procedures
• Left-handed scanner required for this specialized role
• Structured holiday rotation with fair coverage expectations
• Maximum 7 days of time off can be pre-approved per contract
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule ensures smooth onboarding

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of cardiovascular sonography experience; previous travel experience required
• Active Georgia or Compact state license required at time of submission
• Current BLS and ARDMS certification required
• Current CCI RCS and/or RDCS credential required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Proficiency in adult acute care, emergency department, and ICU echo procedures
• Must be able to work as a left-handed scanner
• All compliance documents and core items/labs must be completed by specified deadlines
