Location: Englewood, Colorado

Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Patient ratio approximately 1:4 (estimated, not guaranteed) | Charge nurse free of patients

Highlights:

• Multi-Trauma Unit at a Level 1 trauma center with 20 beds and highly complex, challenging patient population
• Work with advanced equipment including vents, feeding pumps, IV pumps, wound vacs, specialty beds, suction devices, and chest tubes
• EMR system: Meditech/CPN
• Strong team support: 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, and 2 techs on night shift
• Perform procedures including chest tube placement, bedside bronchoscopy, and management of trauma patients, trachs, and critical airways
• Travel RN position offering exposure to diverse trauma cases and advanced clinical skills

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills managing chest tubes, trauma patients, tracheostomies, and suctioning
• Team-oriented personality with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly acute environment
