Highlights:
- Coordinate comprehensive patient care in the Operating Room environment
- Function as first assistant during surgical procedures including incision, excision, and repair
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff throughout the perioperative period
- Participate in preoperative assessment and planning with the healthcare team
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in medication administration, treatment protocols, and patient care standards
- Work with selected surgical patients across multiple specialties
Requirements:
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Operating Room nursing experience required
- First assist privileges or certification preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
