Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU Travel RN – Wisconsin

Start Date: July 6, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, day or night (0700-1930 or 1900-0730), every other weekend, some holidays, no call

• Cardiothoracic surgery, heart and lung transplant, and cardiac medical ICU with 27 private rooms
• Dynamic 1:2 patient ratio (occasionally 1:3 for lower acuity general care patients)

• Advanced cardiac technologies including IABP, Impella, LVAD, ECMO, and CRRT

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care CVICU experience within the last 3 years
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• NextStage CVVH machine experience required
• Basic Arrhythmia interpretation and telemetry competency (testing required pre-start)
• Experience with post-cardiac surgery patients directly from OR preferred
• Cardiothoracic Surgery or Acuity Adaptable area experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must reside 50+ miles from facility
