Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room RN – Pennsylvania

Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM | 1:2 Staffing Ratio | 5 on-call shifts per month | Weekend on-call coverage

Highlights:

• Complex case mix including CABGs, valve repairs/replacements, heart transplants, dissections, and LVADs

• Epic charting system with scrubs provided
• No holiday requirement; flexible floating to general OR based on cardiac volume
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate cardiac experience

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of cardiovascular operating room experience
• Demonstrated competency in both scrubbing and circulating cardiac surgery cases
• Required cardiac surgery experience: CABGs, aortic/mitral valve procedures, heart transplants, dissections, and LVADs
• Preferred experience with vascular and thoracic procedures (EVAR, TEVAR, TCAR, open AAA)
• Current BLS certification
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions available)
• Pennsylvania fingerprinting and childline clearance required
