Location: Morgantown, West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts, nights (weekdays and weekends), 13-week contract with possible extension

Highlights:

• 34-bed medical-surgical unit serving acute care patients with diverse diagnoses and complex care needs
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5-7
• Cerner EMR system utilized throughout the facility
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Flexible scheduling with unit working to accommodate requests when possible
• Average daily census of 25-30 patients across diverse medical-surgical cases

Requirements:

• Active RN License: West Virginia or Compact state license required (pending license accepted for submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in medical-surgical nursing
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (must be American Heart Association certified)
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Permanent address must be at least 75-100 miles from the facility location
• Two manager or charge nurse references from the past two years
• Strong attendance record and commitment to reliability throughout contract duration
