Registered Nurse

Location

Shift

12-hour day/night rotation

Hours per Week

Unit Details

30 beds
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6/7
One charge nurse on the floor with an assignment
Patient care technicians are on the unit
Telemetry is monitored remotely by monitor techs
Intermittent BiPAP used on the unit
Heparin drips are titrated based on aPTT results

Common Patient Types

CHF
COPD
Cellulitis
Rule-out cases
Cholecystitis
Appendicitis
Pneumonia
Urosepsis
AKI

Scheduling and Floating

Weekends and holidays are scheduled as needed, usually about half of the total weekends
No standby or call requirement
Floating may be required based on census

Required Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS certification
NIHSS certification
Unexpired driver’s license must be submitted with the application
Any licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission

Additional Notes

Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius
