Location: Santa Monica, California

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday with on-call requirements; weekend call coverage required. Weekday on-call hours 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM; weekend/holiday on-call hours 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Expect 10-14 call shifts within a 42-day schedule. Three weekends every six-week schedule.

Highlights:

• Work at a beachside acute care hospital serving as a STEMI and stroke receiving center with 266 staffed beds
• Support diverse and advanced procedures including TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, Mitraclip, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology
• Four labs supporting cardiac, EP, VTE thrombectomy, and interventional procedures
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Daily census of approximately six patients with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Opportunity to work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of acute care Cath Lab experience required; stroke and interventional radiology experience strongly preferred
• Active California state license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (RCIS accepted), Fluoroscopy Permit
• LA County Fire Card issued within the last 30 days
• Ability to float between specialties within the lab
• First-time travelers accepted
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
