Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 5x8 Days (shift times vary between 0700-1700), every other weekend required, 72 guaranteed hours per 2-week period

• Manage a caseload of approximately 30 patients focusing on discharge planning and care coordination
• Epic EMR system used for all charting and documentation
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, and more
• Serve diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• 24 hours of orientation provided with opportunity to work Monday-Friday business hours with weekend rotation

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license required prior to start
• BLS certification preferred
• ACM (Accredited Case Manager) certification preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience required
• Acute care hospital experience required (behavioral health experience does not qualify)
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
• Experience with InterQual criteria, Milliman guidelines, and determining medical necessity
• Knowledge of CMS regulations, ICD-10 coding, and prior authorization processes
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Willingness to float within case management services as needed
