Location: Apple Valley, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour variable shifts, Sunday through Saturday. Shift times vary including 0630-1900, 0930-2200, and 1030-2300 with on-call coverage. Weekend and holiday call required. Call commitment estimated at 70-90 hours per 6-week period.

• Work in a 212-bed acute care hospital with 6 main operating suites plus 3-suite outpatient surgery center
• Diverse surgical case mix including orthopedic, spine, total joints, robotics (Da Vinci Xi), vascular, ENT, general, GYN, urology, ophthalmology, plastics, and podiatry
• Epic charting system with free parking provided
• Float between main OR and outpatient surgery center based on facility needs
• Daily census of approximately 20 cases across multiple specialties
• Opportunity to work with advanced surgical technology and equipment including robotic surgery systems

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required (3 years preferred)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Strong background in surgical procedures including but not limited to: orthopedic cases, spine procedures, total joint replacements, robotic surgery, general surgery, and vascular procedures
• Experience with laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgical procedures preferred
• Ability to take call and work weekend shifts as required
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
