Location: Plano, Texas

Schedule: Wednesday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Requires 5-6 call shifts per month with call coverage available Sunday evenings 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM or Monday through Thursday 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This department operates 24/7 with both 10 and 12-hour shift options.

Highlights:

• Level 1 Trauma Center with 23 operating rooms supporting high-acuity surgical services
• Advanced procedural exposure including orthopedic trauma, total joint replacements and revisions, neuro and spine cases, robotic surgery (GYN, colorectal, thoracic, urology), and plastics
• Collaborative team environment with 85+ staff members including charge nurses, coordinators, surgical technologists, and OR assistants
• 1:1 patient ratio ensuring focused, quality care
• Meditech EMR system for clinical documentation
• No floating required – dedicated perioperative assignment

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain)
• Operating room nursing experience required
• Proficiency in orthopedics, neuro/spine, robotics, plastics, and trauma surgery – candidates without these skills will not be considered
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work assigned call shifts and weekends as scheduled
