Job Opportunity – Cath Lab RN – Southern California

Start Date: July 28, 2026
Location: Southern California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time position with required call coverage including 2 nights per week (post-shift) plus 1 weekend every 2 weeks (7 on-call days per pay period). Weekend requirements may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs.

Highlights:

• Work in a 4-room Cath Lab at a 320-bed acute care hospital
• Perform both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Epic charting system experience required
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Support from pharmacy and interpretation services available

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required (1.5 years hard stop)
• Previous travel nursing experience required – first-time travelers cannot be considered
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency with cardiac catheterization procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, cardiac stent placement, and IABP placement/removal
• Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Ability to work with specialized equipment including Impella and balloon pumps
• LA County Fire Card obtained within the last 30 days required
