Description
Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week seasonal contract, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 4 weekend shifts per schedule, no on-call required
Highlights:
- Level 4 designated maternal center providing the highest level of maternal care in Texas
- 22-bed unit caring for the most complex maternal patients at any gestation
- 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios depending on acuity
- Vaginal and Cesarean section deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage procedures, D&C, C-hysterectomy, and PASD cases
- EMR systems: Cerner PowerChart (CPN) and Meditech
- Recently recognized as America's Best Maternity Hospital 2023 by Newsweek and awarded Leapfrog Grade A
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
- Experience with high-risk maternal patients required
- Operating room circulating and triage experience required
- 5+ years of Labor and Delivery experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
- Strong team collaboration and multitasking skills
