Description
Start Date: July 6, 2026
Location: Alexandria, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Days, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with call coverage during the week and on weekends
Highlights:
- Full-time cardiovascular surgery nursing role with competitive hourly compensation
- Work with complex cardiac cases including CABGs, valve replacements, and cardiac surgeries
- Opportunity to practice independently while supporting a collaborative surgical team
- Call coverage integrated into schedule for continuity of care
- Utilize nursing process to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
Requirements:
- Active RN License in Virginia or Compact state
- BLS certification required via American Heart Association
- ACLS certification required via American Heart Association
- Experience with CABG procedures, valve surgeries, and cardiac surgical patients required
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiovascular or surgical nursing specialty preferred
