Description
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time position with every 7th weekend rotation and one night of secondary call per week. Day shift includes 2 techs and 1 nurse per room; night shift maintains 1 tech and 1 RN on-site. 1:1 patient ratios.
Highlights:
- Work in a state-of-the-art IR department with 2 single plane (GE) and 2 biplane (Philips) rooms, plus one invasive CT scanner
- Participate in diverse case mix including dialysis work, arteriograms, embolizations, Y-90, cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, and vertebroplasties
- Join a team of 15 technologists supported by nursing staff in each room and dedicated management
- Utilize Cerner (Radnet) EMR system in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center
- Work at a facility recognized among America's Top 1% hospitals and awarded Magnet Designation for nursing excellence
- Hospital-provided scrubs and opportunity to work with cutting-edge interventional and neurointerventional procedures
Requirements:
- Previous Interventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate) – required
- Previous Neurointerventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate) – required
- BLS certification – required
- Vascular OR experience – preferred
- Cath Lab experience – preferred
- VI Registered – preferred
