Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – South Carolina

Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Greenwood, South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, nights; weekend coverage required

Highlights:

• 32-bed Progressive Care Unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support
• Patient ratio of 4-5 patients per nurse on all shifts
• 24 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful transition
• Care for critical care stepdown, neuro/stroke, cardiac, and telemetry patients
• Epic charting system preferred
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of RN experience

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RN license at time of submission (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and cardiac drips
• Skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, High Flow Nasal Cannula, heparin protocols, and insulin drip titration
• Proficiency with vasoactive and cardiac drip titration
• Experience caring for CVA, post-MI, and pre/post cardiac cath patients
• Two supervisory references required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
