Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – South Carolina

Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Greenwood, South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, days; weekend coverage required

Highlights:

• 32-bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in critical care stepdown, neuro/stroke, and cardiac telemetry patients
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5 with strong interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Physical Therapy, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
• Epic charting system; 24 hours of orientation provided
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips with titration; high-flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/CPAP, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Comprehensive team support with 7-9 RNs and 3-4 techs per shift

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RN license at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; PCU/Stepdown experience strongly preferred
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, CVA care, post-MI patients, cardiac drip titration, and insulin drip management
• Two supervisory references required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
