Schedule: Block scheduling available; 1:1 patient ratio; 16-hour orientation; no call required; no weekend requirement

Highlights:

• Work at a 266-bed acute care hospital with a beautiful beachside location
• Dual-role position: circulate and scrub in ASC outpatient clinic with flexibility to float to Main OR
• Epic charting system; daily census of 14 patients across 4 beds
• Top service lines include gynecology, ENT, urology, with approximately 5 da Vinci robotic cases and 3 orthopedic cases per week
• Strong interdisciplinary support including radiology, pharmacy, social services, and interpretation services
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and pediatrics

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 5 years of OR nursing experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Scrub experience is required; must be able to both circulate and scrub
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Robotic surgery experience preferred (colorectal, gynecologic, urologic, neurological, orthopedic, ENT, and gastrointestinal)
• Experience with a wide range of surgical procedures including laparoscopic cases, joint replacements, ENT, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedic, and urology
• LA fire card within the last 30 days required
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
