Job Opportunity – NICU Respiratory Therapist – Texas

Start Date: July 6, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM), 2 nights per week; rotating weekend coverage (4 weekend shifts per month); no call required

• Consistent night shift schedule with manageable patient volumes (35-40 patients per shift)
• EMR experience with Meditech preferred
• CRT credential accepted for this role

Requirements:

• Active state Respiratory Therapist license (RRT preferred, CRT accepted)
• Adult respiratory care experience in an acute care hospital setting required
• Proficiency in standard respiratory procedures including nebulizer treatments, CPT, arterial blood gases, ventilator management, inhaled nitric oxide therapy, bronchoscopy assistance, and intubation support
• Adult critical care experience (ICU, Emergency Department) strongly preferred
• Ability to transport patients on mechanical ventilation for diagnostic procedures
