Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN – New Mexico

Start Date: August 3, 2026
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week guaranteed, 2-3 weekends per month, call required (24-36 hours/month)

Highlights:

• Level I Trauma Center with 554 staffed beds, teaching hospital with Children's Hospital services
• 1:1 patient ratio, circulating role with focus on Trauma, Neuro, and Ortho service lines
• Purple scrubs provided, no parking fees, Cerner charting system
• 18 operating rooms supporting diverse case mix including cardiovascular, robotics, and trauma procedures
• Minimum 10-week assignment with opportunity for extension
• 8-hour orientation with up to 4 billable hours for module completion

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico RN license or ability to obtain (pending license accepted at submission)
• Current BLS certification (RQI certifications not accepted)
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Level I Trauma experience and circulating experience mandatory
• Neuro and trauma experience strongly preferred; candidates lacking these specialties may be declined
• Must reside outside 100-mile radius from facility
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID vaccine optional
• First-time travelers accepted
