Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; typically every other weekend; patient ratio 1:5–6; 32-bed unit

Highlights:

• Progressive care / overflow IMCU unit serving adult to geriatric patient populations
• Manage a diverse case mix including cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, post-cardiac cath, pulmonary conditions, surgical overflow, and renal patients
• Experience required with continuous IV drips including cardiac medications, diuretics, anticoagulants, and insulin protocols
• Epic EMR system preferred; utilize Pyxis and SBAR communication tools
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract; must be requested at time of submission

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of progressive care or stepdown nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Demonstrated competency managing cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin), diuretics (Bumex, Lasix), anticoagulants (Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin), and insulin drips
• Strong arrhythmia interpretation and dysrhythmia management skills
• Experience with TR bands, post-cardiac cath care, and telemetry monitoring
• Ability to float within facility as needed to similar units
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
