Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM), 36 or 48 hours per week available; 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio; minimum of 3 weekend shifts required every six weeks

• 32 hours of orientation including computer training and unit-specific precepting
• Float opportunities to other intermediate care areas and critical care units for skill diversification
• Strong emphasis on collaborative teamwork and professional behavioral standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, or Telemetry settings required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; CCRN, TNCC, and CPI preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• North Carolina or Compact state RN license
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Demonstrated competency in titrating vasoactive drips including Levophed, cardiac drips, and insulin protocols
• Proficiency in neurological patient care including CVA, traumatic brain injury, craniotomy, intracranial bleeds, post-TPA care, seizure management, and spinal cord injury
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, ventilated patients, arterial blood gas interpretation, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and high-flow nasal cannula
• Advanced IV therapy skills including central line, PICC line, and peripheral line management, plus blood product administration
• Competency with feeding tubes, continuous bladder irrigation, pre/post hemodialysis management, surgical drains, and wound care/wound vac
• Strong adherence to attendance policies and professional behavioral expectations
