Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) PACU / Critical Care – Pennsylvania

Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts (6:00am-6:30pm Pre-Op or 8:00am-8:30pm Post-Op) with on-call requirements

Highlights:

• Level I Trauma Center with diverse surgical case mix including transplants, cardiac procedures, and trauma
• 28-bed unit with 2:1 patient ratio; managing adults, pediatrics, adolescents, and geriatrics
• On-call requirement: 2 shifts (8-hour) M-F plus 1 weekend 12-hour shift per 6-week schedule
• Charting system: Cerner Aecis Surgi Net; scrubs provided by facility
• 13-week assignment with 16 hours of orientation; first-time travelers welcome
• May float to GI or Pain Center as needed

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Current certifications: TNCC (Trauma), PALS, ACLS, BLS
• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience with Critical Care or PACU background
• Level I Trauma experience and ICU background required
• SICU, MICU, and CTICU experience preferred
• Charting system experience required
• Pennsylvania fingerprints and background clearance required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Requested time off must be submitted at time of application
