Job Opportunity – Critical Care Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: August 3, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 8- or 12-hour rotations (1900-0730), every other weekend and some holidays required

• Epic charting system with 28 hours of orientation provided
• 3:1 patient ratios on both day and night shifts

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 5 years of acute care RN experience; Level I Trauma experience required
• At least 2 years of recent acute care experience within the last 3 years in critical care specialty
• Previous travel experience required
• Competency in multiple ICU specialties (Neuro ICU, CVICU, Burn ICU, Trauma ICU, Medical ICU, etc.)
• Strong skills in ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, and advanced critical care interventions
• Must successfully pass a telemetry competency exam prior to start date with strict passing criteria (80% overall, 100% on lethal rhythms)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
