Description
Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week contract
Highlights:
- Level II NICU with 9 beds (expandable to 15 with overflow space)
- Patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3, occasionally 1:1 for high-acuity patients
- Night shift typically staffed with 3-4 RNs providing comprehensive neonatal care
- Experience with respiratory support equipment including SiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, and LFNC
- Meditech EMR system in use
- Hands-on role including IV starts, lab draws, and assisting with complex procedures
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas
- NICU nursing experience required
- Delivery experience preferred
- Proficiency with feeding pumps, IV support (UVC and PIV), and respiratory equipment
- Navy scrubs required
