Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery – Austin, Texas

Start Date: June 30, 2026

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period required; no call required

Highlights:

• Level III Maternal Designation and Level II Neonatal facility with Level I and Level II trauma obstetrical services
• 12 LDR beds, 5 Antepartum beds, 4 OBED, and 3 OR rooms with collaborative self-scheduling model
• High-risk OB case mix including PASD, massive transfusion, emergent cesarean hysterectomies, and twin deliveries
• Acuity-based patient ratios of 1:2 and 1:1 during transition
• EMR platforms include CPN and Meditech; Alaris and CADD epidural pumps utilized
• Joint Commission accredited Women's Services with engaged physician team and highly supportive management

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 3 years of High-Risk OB experience required
• Current AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required
• AWHON IFM and CPI certifications
• Experience with PASD (placenta accreta spectrum disorders) and massive transfusion protocols strongly preferred
