Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 12 weekend shifts per contract

Highlights:

• Level IV NICU experience required in a mixed acuity environment
• Work within a 554-bed Level I Trauma and Teaching Children's Hospital
• Cerner electronic medical record system
• Patient ratios of 1:3 with opportunity to float to Pediatric ICU, Level II NICU, and Mother Baby Unit
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 13-week assignment with 12-hour orientation and free parking

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Level IV NICU experience required
• Active RN license (pending license accepted at submission)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications (RQI certifications not accepted)
• Proficiency with IV vasopressors, high frequency ventilation, high flow nasal cannula, respiratory distress syndrome management, and ventilator management
• Experience with conventional, oscillating, and high frequency jet ventilation
• Willingness to float within scope to PICU, Level II NICU, and Mother Baby Unit
• Must reside outside 100-mile radius from facility
• COVID vaccination required (medical and religious exemptions accepted); flu vaccine required (exemptions available)
