Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist – Georgia

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend required; no call. Float within facility scope of practice as needed.

Highlights:

  • Primary role in Level 3 NICU with dual responsibility for neonatal and adult critical care
  • Must be proficient in neonatal intubation (>22 weeks gestational age), arterial blood sampling, and high-risk bedside procedures
  • Adult critical care skills required including intubation, airway management, and arterial line insertion
  • Epic charting system; community hospital experience required
  • Work with diverse patient populations from neonates to geriatrics
  • Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract; holiday rotation required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience; first-time travelers accepted
  • Georgia state license or Compact license required at time of submission
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT
  • Proficiency with ventilators including Drager VN 800, Puritan Bennett, Viasys Vela, Avea, and GE Carescape preferred
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Must demonstrate competency in high-frequency oscillator, BiPAP/CPAP, nitric oxide administration, bronchoscopy assistance, and full spectrum of neonatal and adult respiratory interventions
  • Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
