Location: Englewood, Colorado

Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-hour shifts

Highlights:

• 20-bed Multi Trauma Unit in a Level 1 Trauma Center with highly complex and interesting patient population
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 with charge nurse free of patient assignments
• Advanced equipment including ventilators, feeding pumps, IV pumps, wound VACs, specialty beds, suction devices, and chest tubes
• EMR system: Meditech/CPN
• Strong night shift support: 1 charge nurse, 5 staff nurses, and 2 patient care technicians
• Opportunity to manage trauma patients, chest tubes, tracheostomies, and perform bedside procedures including chest tube placement and bronchoscopy assistance

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Prior Meditech experience strongly preferred
• Ability to manage highly acute trauma patients, including those with chest tubes, tracheostomies, and complex care needs
