Location: Lubbock, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling flexibility; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period; no on-call required; block scheduling approved but not required

• High-acuity emergency department with 42 treatment rooms, 46 beds, and average daily census of 136 visits
• Diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Full interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and interpretation services

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience (required)
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:3 or similar
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital and trauma center experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency in stroke management, trauma care, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line management, IV vasopressors, and triage
