Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist – Georgia

Start Date: September 8, 2026 (subject to completion of privileging process)

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift with call coverage one day per week and one weekend approximately every four weeks (subject to departmental needs). Weekend coverage only required during call rotation. Float to Main OR as needed within scope of practice.

• Specialized cardiovascular, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic surgical services
• Advanced procedures including CABG, TAVR, VAD, carotid endarterectomy, aortic aneurysm repair, and thoracotomy
• Epic charting system in use
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• 1:1 patient ratio providing focused, high-quality perioperative care
• Contract length determines orientation hours; first-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience

Requirements:

• Active certification: CSFA, NBSTSA, or NCCSA required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic OR experience (non-negotiable)
• RNFA certification preferred
• Heart transplant experience highly preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Must complete privileging process prior to start date (approximately 120 days from contract signature)
• Full compliance required to start on time; all onboarding items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
