Description
Start Date: July 20, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day or night shift rotation with varying weekend requirements (minimum 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule); patient ratios range from 10-25 depending on service line and census

- Provide respiratory care across multiple critical care units and medical-surgical floors in an 800+ bed regional referral center
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment including GE R860 adult ventilators, Draeger infant/pediatric ventilators, Newport HT70 transport vents, V60 non-invasive devices, and Vapotherm and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen systems
- Support diverse patient populations including adult, pediatric, and neonatal intensive care services
- Document and manage care using Cerner EMR system
- Join a collaborative team of 120+ respiratory therapy professionals in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center environment
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina Respiratory Care License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- NRP certification preferred
- Willingness to float to all critical care units and medical floors as needed
