Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgical Technologist – Georgia

Start Date: August 24, 2026 (pending completion of credentialing process)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift with call requirements (one weekday per week and one weekend approximately every four weeks). Float within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed.

Highlights:

  • Specialized cardiovascular and thoracic surgical services including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, VAD, and heart transplant procedures
  • Comprehensive case mix including cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic surgeries with exposure to advanced procedures
  • Epic charting system utilized for documentation
  • Level I and Level II trauma experience preferred; opportunity to work with complex surgical cases
  • Credentialing process requires approximately 120 days prior to start date
  • First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience

Requirements:

  • Current Georgia or Compact state surgical technologist license
  • CSFA, NBSTSA, or NCCSA certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience
  • Cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic experience required (hard stop requirement)
  • Heart transplant experience highly preferred
  • Experience with advanced cardiovascular procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, VAD, and TEVAR
  • All compliance documents must be completed prior to start date
