Description
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Location: Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Variable schedule including weekends and call shifts to be discussed during interview. Float requirements within facility scope of practice and to outpatient settings as needed.
Highlights:
- Diverse surgical service lines including Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral Surgery, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
- Epic electronic medical record system
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
- Patient population includes adult and geriatric populations
- Maximum 7 days of time off available per contract (must be finalized at time of submission)
- 36 hours of paid orientation
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience required prior to travel assignment
- Must have verifiable experience in Neurology, Transplant (solid organ), General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedic surgical procedures
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Current BLS certification required
- Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Epic charting system experience required
- Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures including but not limited to: craniotomy, laminectomy, transplant procedures, joint replacements, laparoscopic procedures, and spine surgeries (ALIF, XLIF)
- Community hospital and trauma center experience preferred
- Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
