Description
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Round Rock, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week contract, Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), Rotating weekends (4 weekend shifts per 4-week period), No call required
Highlights:- 35-bed Emergency Department utilizing Meditech EMR system
- Patient ratios of 3:1 or 4:1 with strong multidisciplinary team support
- Comprehensive case mix including trauma, stroke, STEMI, and moderate sedation procedures
- Collaborative team environment with charge nurses, RNs, PCTs, medics, and ultrasound technicians
- Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, 1 PCT, 1 medic, and 1 ultrasound technician
- Rotating weekend schedule for work-life balance
- Active Texas RN license or compact state license with ability to practice in Texas
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification required
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred
- Navy scrubs required for RN staff
