Schedule: Night shift, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, 13-week contract assignment, rotating 4 weekend shifts per month, no on-call requirements

Highlights:

• Focus on neonatal intensive care patients, including premature infants 32 weeks gestation and older
• Work with advanced respiratory equipment including GE ventilators, V60 BiPAPs, and Airvo high-flow nasal cannula systems
• Night shift assignments based on clinical volume with approximately 35–40 patients per shift supported by 7–9 respiratory therapy staff and 1 supervisor
• 13-week contract with potential for permanent placement opportunities
• EMR system: Meditech
• Collaborative, team-oriented department with approximately 50 total respiratory therapy professionals

Requirements:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current state licensure for Texas (or ability to obtain)
• Adult respiratory experience in an acute care hospital setting required
• Neonatal respiratory care experience strongly preferred, particularly caring for premature infants
• Proficiency in standard respiratory therapy procedures including nebulizers, chest physiotherapy, arterial blood gas analysis, ventilator management, inhaled nitric oxide therapy, bronchoscopy assistance, intubation support, and patient transport with mechanical ventilation
• Adult critical care experience in ICU or Emergency Department settings preferred
