Job Opportunity – Cardiac Sonographer / Echocardiography – Georgia

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 10-hour shifts with an average caseload of 8 TTEs per shift. No call required. Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed.

Highlights:

• High-volume structural echo lab performing advanced procedures including TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, ASD closures, and LVAD/Impella/ECMO scans
• Comprehensive cardiac imaging services including TEE, stress echo (treadmill and pharmacologic), 3D echo, strain imaging, and contrast-enhanced studies using Lumason
• Collaborative environment with strong sonographer-cardiologist rapport; sonographers enter preliminary reports
• Epic charting system experience preferred; Philips and Siemens equipment utilized
• Support for the largest organ recovery center in the Southeast and specialized spine center patients
• Serve diverse patient populations including inpatient, ICU, and outpatient across adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of cardiac sonography experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Georgia state license or Compact license required at time of application
• Current BLS certification required
• RDCS or CCI RCS certification required; ARRT-Sonography preferred
• Demonstrated structural echo experience with TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, LVAD, Impella, and ECMO required
• Proficiency in TEE, stress echo (treadmill and pharmacologic), 3D imaging, bubble studies, and contrast agents
• Experience with adult acute care, emergency department, and ICU imaging
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
