Description
Start Date: September 7, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 1:2 patient ratio, 26-bed Coronary Care Unit
Highlights:
- Coronary Care Unit specializing in advanced cardiac interventions including heart catheterizations, cardioversion, balloon pumps, and hypothermia therapy
- Collaborative team environment with dedicated charge nurse support and patient care technicians on every shift
- Work with specialized equipment including CRRT, balloon pumps, and hypothermia devices
- Meditech EMR system utilized throughout the facility
- Large acute care hospital setting offering comprehensive critical care experience
- Travel nursing assignment with competitive benefits package
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience (required)
- Active RN license in good standing
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications (required)
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR (preferred)
- Previous travel nursing experience in large facility ICU settings (preferred)
- Experience with cardiac procedures including central lines and medication drips
