Description
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 6-week rotating schedule with at least 4 weekend shifts per schedule period. Patient ratios range from 10-25 depending on assignment. Day and night shifts available across adult and pediatric service lines.

- Float across critical care units and floors, providing respiratory services for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
- Utilize advanced equipment including GE R860 adult ventilators, Draeger infant/peds ventilators, Newport HT70 transport vents, and Cerner EMR
- Join a department of 120 respiratory staff supporting Level II trauma, comprehensive stroke, Level III NICU, and children's hospital services
- Support the region's busiest robotic surgery program and only open heart/interventional cardiology center
- Collaborative team environment committed to clinical excellence and patient safety
Requirements:
- North Carolina Respiratory Therapist License (active and in good standing)
- RRT – Registered Respiratory Therapist certification (required)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
- NRP certification (preferred)
- CRT-only applicants will not be considered – RRT certification is mandatory
