Job Opportunity – Cardiac Sonographer / Echocardiography – Georgia

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week contract, 10-hour shifts with approximately 8 TTE studies per day. Call coverage required one week, twice during the contract period. Float within facility/scope of practice as needed. Holiday coverage required based on major holidays falling within assignment period.

Highlights:

• High-volume structural echocardiography lab performing TEE, stress echo, complete TTE with Lumason contrast, 3D imaging, and strain imaging
• Work with inpatient, ICU, and outpatient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Extensive structural echo procedures including TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, and ASD closures
• Experience with advanced cardiac devices including LVAD, Impella, and ECMO
• Sonographers enter preliminary reports and maintain excellent collaboration with cardiology team
• Support the largest organ recovery center in the Southeast and spine specialty center
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of cardiac sonography experience required
• Georgia state license or compact license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification required
• RDCS or CCI RCS certification required
• ARRT - Sonography certification required
• Extensive structural echocardiography experience mandatory (TAVRs, Mitral Clips, MVRs, TVRs, ASD closures)
• Proficiency in TEE, pharmacologic stress echo, treadmill stress echo, and 3D echo required
• Experience with Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
• Imaging with contrast agents experience required
• Full compliance documentation required; must be completed by Tuesday prior to start date
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
