Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Telemetry – Ohio

Start Date: September 11, 2026

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Highlights:

• Contract duration of 20 weeks providing winter coverage (13-week assignments also available)
• Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit requiring strong rhythm recognition skills
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation

• Electronic timekeeping system for streamlined hours reporting

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months recent, permanent Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience required
• Active Ohio RN license or valid Compact state license in hand at time of application (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Current ACLS certification
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, director, or charge nurse from specialty area within the past 12 months
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts maximum)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Background check and fingerprinting (BCI/FBI) required within 48 hours of contract signing
• Drug screen required (nicotine screening exempt for nursing positions)
