Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend required; no call; floating within facility/scope of practice as needed

Highlights:

• Adult and geriatric patient population with critical care and emergency department exposure
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Diverse skill set required including mechanical ventilation, high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/CPAP, and advanced aerosol therapies
• Community hospital setting with trauma level experience preferred
• Contract length varies; non-billable orientation hours determined by assignment length
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed per contract

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers
• Current BLS, PALS, and RRT certifications required
• Previous travel experience required
• Proficiency in tracheostomy care/management, ventilator weaning, and troubleshooting
• Experience with specialty medications including aerosol treatments, bronchodilators, and inhaled therapies
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; late compliance results in 2-week delay
