Job Opportunity – Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) – Wisconsin

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, 0730 – 1800, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Saturday rotation every 5-6 weeks. Holiday and standby call may be required dependent on operational need.

Highlights:

  • Perform a wide variety of diagnostic imaging exams on patients across the lifespan including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Work in a Magnet-designated, Level I and II trauma facility ranked as Wisconsin's #1 hospital and recognized as one of the nation's leading teaching institutions
  • Utilize Epic charting system and work with state-of-the-art radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers
  • 539-bed acute care teaching hospital offering diverse case mix including emergency department, ICU, NICU, PICU, operating room, and portable/bedside procedures
  • Opportunity to troubleshoot equipment, participate in quality assurance, and resolve image processing and archiving issues
  • Floating to other departments may be required based on operational needs

Requirements:

  • State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer
  • ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography) certification required
  • BLS certification through American Heart Association ONLY
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • Minimum 2 years of radiography experience required
  • Level I and II trauma experience preferred; Level II trauma experience required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Proficiency in a wide range of radiographic procedures including routine imaging, portable/bedside procedures, trauma cases, contrast studies, and specialized positioning
  • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
