Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), self-scheduling per unit needs. Weekend requirement includes 3 Fridays, 3 Saturdays, and 3 Sundays per 6-week period. Contract lengths available from 13+ weeks through February 27, 2027.

Highlights:

• Level III/IV NICU experience with patient ratios of 1:2-4
• Advanced neonatal care including therapeutic hypothermia, nitric oxide, ventilator management, and care for premature infants as early as 22 weeks
• Epic charting system with comprehensive unit orientation (24 hours)
• Float opportunities to Peds/PICU/Nursery caring for infants up to 12 months
• No call requirement; first-time travelers welcomed
• Experience with specialized equipment including Servo Vents, HFOV, Tecotherm, and various IV/feeding pump systems

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Level 3 or Level 4 Intensive Care Nursery (NICU) required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• NC or Compact nursing license (pending acceptable at time of submission)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Ventilator management experience required
• Proficiency with central line care, UAC/UVC, tracheostomy care, dysrhythmia interpretation, and oxygen delivery systems
