# Job Opportunity – NICU Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** August 11, 2026 **Location:** Dallas, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays**Highlights:** - 108-bed Level III NICU with diverse patient population including surgical, cardiac, and extremely premature infants- Patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity- Equipment includes nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS monitors, warmers, and isolettes- Collaborative team environment with RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs- Documentation systems: CPN and Meditech- Advanced procedures performed on unit including central line insertions, circumcisions, exploratory laparotomies, gastroschisis reductions, and PDA ligations**Requirements:** - Active RN license in Texas or compact state license- Minimum 1 year of Level III NICU experience required- BLS and NRP certifications required- Experience with premature infants (28 weeks gestation and above)- Proficiency in central line management and respiratory support including care of intubated patients- Preferred skills: surgical patients, cardiac patients, care of infants born at 27 weeks or earlier, tracheostomy care, and Broviac catheter management- Ability to float to PICU, Pediatrics, and CICU as needed (caring for patients up to 2 years of age)- Adherence to dress code: royal blue scrubs**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-acuity NICU where you'll care for complex neonatal patients including extremely premature infants, surgical cases, and cardiac patients.
