Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts, primarily weekends; Patient ratio of 5-6 patients per nurse

Highlights:

• Work in an 80-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving as a regional referral center
• Treat patients recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, amputation, and other complex conditions
• Specialized equipment available including IV pumps, specialty beds, feeding pumps, lifts, and transfer equipment
• Supportive staffing model with CNAs on all shifts and 11 hours of unit secretary support
• No floating required – all units are connected and interchangeable
• Electronic medical records managed through Meditech

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Medical-surgical experience required; rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work with advanced rehabilitation patients and specialty equipment
