Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Fayetteville, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week assignment with every other weekend coverage required. 1:4 patient ratio across all shifts. Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed. No call required. Maximum 7 days of time off per contract (must be finalized at submission).

• Combined adult and pediatric emergency department with 265 daily visits and 70 beds
• Epic charting system with 24 hours of paid orientation
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and radiology
• Trauma-level experience preferred; opportunity to work with diverse patient populations from infants to geriatrics
• Holiday requirement: work assigned major holidays based on contract period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
• Full compliance required prior to start date; orientation occurs bi-weekly

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in arterial line management, ventilated patient care, central line management, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and triage
• Community hospital and trauma center experience preferred
• All compliance documents and core labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
