Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist – Georgia

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Self-scheduling with every other weekend requirement. Float within facility and scope of practice as needed. No on-call required. Must work major holidays as they fall during assignment period.

Highlights:

• Versatile critical care experience across NICU, adult ICU, Emergency Department, and general floor therapy
• 103-bed facility with daily census of 85 patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Epic charting system with full interdisciplinary support including PT, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• 12-hour paid orientation with opportunity for first-time travelers (minimum 1 year experience required)
• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract (must be finalized at submission)
• Local candidates accepted at same rate

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact state Respiratory Therapist license
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required; Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Competency in adult critical care, NICU, pediatric care, emergency department, and comprehensive respiratory modalities including mechanical ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, aerosol therapy, bronchoscopy assistance, and tracheostomy management
• Full compliance required prior to start date; must complete core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
