Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Georgia

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Variable shifts with weekend coverage as needed; floating within facility and to outpatient departments as required; no call required

Highlights:

  • Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients
  • Diverse procedural experience including HIDA scans, ventilation/perfusion studies, thallium stress tests, I-123 uptake scans, and cancer surveys
  • Experience with multiple equipment platforms including GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba
  • Charting system experience required; proficiency with any major EMR acceptable
  • First-time travelers welcomed with minimum 1 year of experience
  • Requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; maximum 7 days per contract

Requirements:

  • Active Georgia state license or Compact license required at time of application
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ARRT(N) or CNMT certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
  • Competency in starting and maintaining IVs
  • Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE protocols, and proper storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials
  • Experience with pharmacological stress testing and full range of nuclear medicine procedures
  • All compliance documents must be completed by the Tuesday prior to start date
