Job Opportunity – GI Endoscopy Technician – Georgia

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend; no call required; 8 procedure rooms with 45-65 cases daily; floating within facility/scope of practice as needed

Highlights:

  • High-volume endoscopy unit performing a diverse range of procedures including basic EGDs and colonoscopies, as well as complex interventional GI cases such as ERCP, EUS, POEMs, and cystgastrostomy
  • Work alongside dedicated Respiratory Therapists who assist with bronchoscopies and an in-house anesthesia group that supports all cases
  • Epic EMR system; 20 hours of orientation provided
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more
  • Serve adult and geriatric patient populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Travel experience required; minimum 2 years of GI endoscopy experience necessary

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of GI endoscopy experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Proficiency in administering and monitoring conscious sedation, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, circulating, pre/post procedure care, specimen handling, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
  • Community hospital and trauma center experience preferred
  • Full compliance required to start on time; all documents due Tuesday prior to start date
  • All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission (maximum 7 days per contract)
